Background

Capacity Building Workshop and Briefing of African Delegates prior to the 6th Meeting of the Ad Hoc Open Ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABSWG-6)

The workshop was supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Biodiversity (SCBD).

The workshop was organised by the supra-regional programme “Implementing the Biodiversity Convention”, which is being conducted by GTZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
